Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actor and producer who is best known for the roles she played in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in theater, film and television. She started acting on stage before appearing in independent, mainstream and television series. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing show The Book of Negroes she appeared. She did not only get praise from critics for her role but did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. She began her career as an actress in 1995, when she appeared as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include the Broadway performance of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her role in the series Men of Honor and the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. In the world of television, her role in the ABC's crime drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
