Singer and actress and song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the cast of One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a new country artist, which allowed her album make it to the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, also reached into the Top Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, fell in love with the music of country. In the future, she was pursuing the career of a recording artist. However, her first role as an actress in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was just a teen. She appeared in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer later appeared on television in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. The actress was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the finale in 2012, part way through. Jana Kramer Kramer was a part of the cast of One Tree Hill from 2009 to the year 2012. Kramer was a signer of an agreement in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country song I Won't Give up during an One Tree Hill 2011 episode. This track appeared later on her debut album in the middle of 2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The singer focused her attention on her singing career while still acting and starred in films that appealed her fans such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album, Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in the month of October 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as The duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach #3 on the Billboard 200 and number 10 in the country chart albums. Starting in September 2016, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. That same year she had a hit adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
