Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse as well as Tom Bell - a television director. She's an American singer and actress. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was recognized at an early age. She was just 12 when she went to her first audition and won the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper ads. As well as learning in private classes and acting lessons, she started her career in the year 2000. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell was a part of the drama and music clubs in Shrine Catholic High School. When her school staged a production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell then moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell quit her studies in 2001, and took on the part of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her first credit debut with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. However the film cut her character out of the movie and her appearance was only in the credits. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
