Her winner's single, which was a cover from Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This" which peaked at the top of the charts, reached first place for the duration of four weeks on UK Singles Chart and broke an all-time record of 50,000 digital downloads within thirty minutes. In February 2007 Lewis signed a five-album contract with the United States with Clive Davis's record label J Records. Lewis's popularity grew with the announcement of her first album of her own, Spirit (2007), which was certified platinum at 10x in the UK and became the fourth top-selling album in the decade and among the most popular albums sold in UK chart record-setting. It is reported by the Official Charts Company claims that Spirit was the most successful 21st century album for a debut female. Its single "Bleeding Love" remains at the top of the UK charts for seven straight weeks and then became the top-selling single of 2007. Also, it was the biggest-sold single in the US during the same time. Lewis won the Billboard Best New Artist Award subsequent year. Echo was her sophomore studio album. The album also featured the track "I Love You" for Avatar. Lewis' single "Collide," was made in collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii as well as Hurt the EP, her first play that was extended. Glassheart (2012) is her 3rd studio album. Her inspiration came from electronic and dubstep music. Lewis began recording music for her first Christmas album during her Glassheart Tour, which took to the stage in the mid-2013 timeframe. Christmas, With Love was released later that year, and the album's lead track, "One More Sleep" was a top three hit across the UK. This chart position was what made Lewis to be the first British single female singer to reach the top 5 spots, having eight songs. The singer also overtook Olivia Newton-John's record for seven singles.
